Preventing Burnout with Danielle Hall from KALAP
Lawyer burnout is a serious problem. Overwhelming caseloads, limited resources, bad work habits, and unhealthy workplace culture can lead to an increased risk of burnout within the profession. Some of us have become so accustomed to being stressed and burned out, however, that we might not even realize how much we're suffering. Our productivity levels can suffer, and chronic stress can even make it difficult to competently represent clients. During this session, we will discuss the difference between stress and burnout, the warning signs of burnout, and how to implement healthy coping strategies, boundaries, and balance to prevent burnout.
